ZTE announced two budget smartphones, ZTE Blade V8 lite and the ZTE Blade V8 Mini at the ongoing MWC 2017. These smartphones aim to offer good specifications at an affordable price.
ZTE Blade V8 Mini
The ZTE Blade V8 Mini is a camera centric phone and houses a dual camera setup a the back. It houses a 13-megapixel camera along with a 2-megapixel sensor to calculate depth. It also gets tons of shooting features like bokeh, auto HDR and post-capture refocusing. The phone can also render images in 3D by combining two images together. At the front, it gets a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. The Mini sports a 5-inch HD display and is powered by a Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor and 2GB of RAM. It features 16GB of internal storage that is further expandable up to 256GB.
The phone runs on Android Nougat with a custom skin from ZTE on top. The smartphone also gets a fingerprint scanner on the back and houses a 2800mAh battery. ZTE has mentioned that the pricing for the smartphone will be revealed when it is launched in the next few months.
ZTE Blade V8 Lite
The ZTE Blade V8 Lite also sports a 5-inch HD display but is powered by a MediaTek 6750 octa-core processor. The smartphone gets 2GB of RAM as well with 16GB of external storage. The V8 Lite is the cheaper among the two phone and houses an 8-megapixel camera on the back with autofocus and LED flash. At the front, it sports a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. It also features the fingerprint scanner on the back while packing a 2500mAh battery inside. It runs on Android Nougat and will be available in three colors at the time of launch.
